About the Greene County Center

Jones College Greene County Center is located in Leakesville, MS and was the first satellite campus of its kind established by Jones College.  With the collaboration of local educational authorities and the support and advisement of Greene County Board of Supervisors, classes began on this campus in 2012 and have been offering a local and affordable, yet quality education ever since.  The residents of Greene County and surrounding areas can gain valuable knowledge by participating in the various classes and programs offered at the Greene County Center. By providing traditional academic classes, workforce training, and General Education Diploma (GED) courses, we offer something for learners on many different levels.  Our mission is to impart information and skills which will equip our students with a relevant and quality education that will work for them in years to come. Our hope is that, in turn, these students leave with a mindset to be life-long learners who contribute to a productive and empowered society and are a positive reflection of the time and dedication that was put into them during their journey with Jones College.
