Apply Online


Complete the FREE Jones College online Application for Admission. Once processed, you’ll receive an admissions packet in the mail and updates via email and text. Don’t forget to submit your ACT/SAT scores (Jones College code: 2206) and send us your high school and/or college transcripts to fulfill admissions requirements.

Submit Financial Aid (FAFSA)


Complete your FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov to determine your eligibility for grants, loans, and other aid. Submit it early—each award year opens on October 1st, with the recommendation of applying by April 1st.

When it's time to create your class schedule, your Enrollment Counselor will reach out to you and help you secure an enrollment appointment. Enrollment Counselors are located in Enrollment Services on the first floor of the Terrell Tisdale Library. Returning Students

At Jones, we make enrollment and academic advisement easy! Currently enrolled students re-enroll through their faculty advisor. The faculty advisement period kicks off on the first day of open enrollment and runs all the way up to exam week each semester—plenty of time to get your schedule just right!

How will you know when it’s time to enroll?
We’ll keep you in the loop! Open Enrollment dates will be shared through multiple channels, so you won’t miss a thing. Plus, before enrollment officially opens, your faculty advisor will send you step-by-step instructions through your Jones email and/or the Advisement Class in Canvas.

No worries! Just log into your JC app and click the Success Team tile.

What happens after the advisement period?
Once faculty advisement closes at the start of exam week, our Enrollment Counselors step in! They’re your go-to for schedule changes, enrollment questions, or academic advisement needs.

You can find your Enrollment Counselor in Enrollment Services on the first floor of the Terrell Tisdale Library, or connect by clicking here: Enrollment Services. each semester. Open Enrollment dates will be communicated to students in a variety of ways.

Students will receive enrollment instructions from their faculty advisor prior to the first date of open enrollment via Jones email and/or the student Advisement Class in Canvas. You can confirm who your faculty advisor is by logging in to your student account in PeopleSoft.

Returning students who are clear with the Business Office will receive priority registration. Faculty advisors will create student schedules and students can make changes as needed.

Once the faculty advisement period closes at the start of exam week, Admissions Counselors in Enrollment Services will be the contact for enrollment, schedule changes and academic advisement.
