Move-in Date(s)

Be sure to check your JC email today for updated information regarding move-in dates and times for each residence hall.

We are so excited to welcome you to, or back to, campus! We have been eagerly preparing for your arrival. Living on campus is one of the most memorable experiences students can have at college. Move-in is an exciting time and involves volunteers from a variety of student organizations to help students carry belongings into their new space.


Remember, you will need your ONE CARD ID in order to check-in!

Tips Before you Arrive

Talk with your roommate(s) about what shared items to bring.

Read the Jones College Student Orientation

Review your families insurance policy or obtain renters insurance

Pack your belongings in reusable crates and storage containers to avoid waste and make life easy during your move

After learning your roommate's name(s), email your roommate(s) and try to talk several times before move-in day. Share academic plans, common interests, and what each of you will contribute to your room's set-up. If possible, arrange to meet for a meal or a movie, so you can get to know one another better.

Check out our dining facilities and take advantage of your meal plan included in housing fees.
