Each year, the Jones College Alumni and Foundation Office recognizes outstanding alumni and friends who inspire greatness in their communities through work and service. The Rising Star Award is given to an alumnus under 30 who demonstrates early professional and community success, and the Achievement and Excellence Award is given to an outstanding professional and service-oriented alumnus under 40. Likewise, the Legacy Award is given to a successful, service-oriented alumnus who attended Jones College at least 50 years ago.
Additionally, Outstanding Alumni of the Year are recognized for bringing honor to Jones College through professional accomplishments and service. To honor friends of Jones College, the Distinguished Service Award is given to those who show genuine interest in the College and exemplify the core values of Jones through work and service. Rising Star (1-5 Recipients)
Description
The Rising Star recognizes an alumnus of Jones College who has demonstrated success early in their career, and has accomplished professional and personal success throughout the
community.
Criteria
- Must be 30 years of age and under.
- Must not be a current Jones College employee.
- Must have attended Jones College at least one academic year.
Achievement and Excellence Award (1-5 recipients)
Description
The Achievement and Excellence Award recognizes an alumnus of Jones College, who has demonstrated professional and personal success throughout the community.
Criteria
- Must be 40 years of age and under.
- Must not be a current Jones College employee.
- Must have attended Jones College at least one academic year.
Legacy Award (1 or more recipients)
Description
The Legacy Award recognizes an Alumnus of Jones College who has illustrated over the years continued support and has made consistent contributions to honor the College.
Criteria
- 50 years of post graduate from Jones College.
- Must not be a current Jones College employee.
- Must have attended Jones College at least one academic year.
Outstanding Alumni of the Year (1-3 recipients)
Description
The Outstanding Alumni of the Year is awarded to an alumnus of Jones College that recognizes the accomplishments and service of former students who have exhibited exceptional service
and brought honor to the College.
Distinguished Service Award (1 recipient)
Description
The Distinguished Service Award is presented to a friend of the College who exemplifies a genuine interest of Jones College and embodies core values of inspiring greatness, leadership,
respect, and selfless service to our community.
