JCJC’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter to host Regional Conference

ELLISVILLE – The Rho Sigma chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society at Jones County Junior College will be hosting the regional conference next spring. About 250 students from about 25 chapters in Mississippi and Louisiana will converge on the Ellisville campus in February for two days of workshops and speakers, as well as competition. PTK Regional President and JCJC sophomore, Lewis Bateman of Laurel will preside over the conference.
The JCJC PTK officers assisting Bateman in the coordination of the conference are: Secretary, Tera Busby of Clara; Director of Campus Activities, Skylar Dailey of Buckatunna; Director of College Project and Information Technology, Zack Warren of Ellisville; Director of Project Submission, Hannah Pruitt of Ellisville; Regional President, Lewis Bateman of Laurel; Director of Honors in Action, Kaylie Bradshaw of Ellisville; Chapter President, Patrick Campbell of Magee and Director of Chapter Meetings and Coordinator of Service, Kristen Hallman of Raleigh along with sponsors, Julie Atwood and Gwen Magee.
