Dick Ford’s “Faces” featured in JCJC’s art gallery

ELLISVILLE – Smith county native, Dick Ford’s “Faces” collection of art will be featured in Jones County Junior College’s Eula Bass Lewis Art Gallery through September.  The artist will have a reception and “Artist Talk” on Thursday, August 29, from 10 a.m. until noon in the gallery.  He will discuss the variety of mediums he paints with and uses for canvasses.

The University of Southern Mississippi graduates’ award winning artwork, which includes paintings, drawings, photography, short films, animations and sculptures, has been shown across the nation and in Europe and Japan.  Some of his artwork can also be viewed in Jackson, at Brown's Fine Art and Framing, or at this link: http://brownsfineart.com/artists/dick-ford/.
