ELLISVILLE-About 40 high school students spent part of their summer trying to improve their ACT scores by participating in Jones County Junior College’s ACT Prep Camp. The three-day camp was an opportunity for academic enhancement and leadership development which precedes the national ACT test. JCJC science instructor Megan Stringer was part of the team of instructors giving students the best chance of improving their scores with test taking tips. Every student also received a copy of the book, “The Princeton Review” ACT prep book in effort to offer them an advantage to taking the ACT test. Additionally, the goal of the camp was to provide a variety of learning activities to enhance educational goals.
