JC Voices and JCJC Concert Choir perform in Ellisville

ELLISVILLE– First United Methodist Church of Ellisville is hosting the Jones County Junior College Concert Choir and JC Voices spring concert on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public and will feature selections by Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Orban, Lauridsen, Dawson, and many other composers.
 
The choir will sing a variety of music including the famous Regina Coeli, K. 276 by Mozart; Bogoroditsye, Devo, Raduisya by Rachmaninoff; Paul Basler hymn arrangements accompanied on organ by JCJC piano and organ instructor, Kay Guiles and JCJC brass instructor, Patrick Richards on the French horn. Rousing spirituals like, Ezekiel Saw de Wheel, and Ain't No Grave, will also be performed
 
 JC Voices will sing three a cappella selections from their recent Valentine's concert, I'll Be Seeing You, My Funny Valentine, and Over the RainbowFor more information about the concert, call the Fine Arts Department at 601-477-4094.
