JCJC is offering welding classes in Clarke County

ELLISVILLE – Jones County Junior College’s Workforce Development is offering a Welding class at the Clarke County Vo-Tech in Quitman beginning on Monday, January 14, 2013. This course will meet on Monday and Thursday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Registration will be Monday, January 14, 2013, the same night as class begins, with the course concluding June 27, 2013. 
 
The welding class will cover welding safety, Oxyfuel cutting, base metal preparation, weld quality, SMAW, equipment and setup, electrodes and selection, and bead and fillet welds. The 150-hour class costs $300.
