Four JCJC Employees Announce Retirement

ELLISVILLE – Four Jones County Junior College employees were recently honored for their service to JCJC at the annual Retirement Tea. These faculty and staff members have almost 83 years of combined experience at Jones.   
 
Arthur Clifton is retiring from the maintenance department after working 32 years at JCJC. English instructor Fred H. Crumpton from Raleigh has worked at Jones for ten years. The Raleigh native retires with 25 years total in the education field. LPN instructor Linda Shows began her teaching career at R.H. Watkins High School in Laurel as the Allied Health Instructor. She joined the faculty at Jones after working in Laurel for two years and has spent 23 years teaching nursing students at JCJC. She will continue serving as the Executive Director of the Mississippi Licensed Practical Nursing Association. Laurel native, Anita Williams will end 25 years of teaching. She taught psychology for 18 years at Jones after teaching at Delta State University and Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
