Bobcats receive votes in latest NJCAA poll

  ELLISVILLE – The Jones County Junior College Bobcats received votes in this week’s NJCAA poll.

JCJC whipped Mississippi Delta Community College 33-0 last week in the season opener and received two votes in the “Others Receiving Votes” category of the poll. The Bobcats will be at home on Thursday to meet Coahoma Community College. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. and the game will be televised live on www.jcjc.tv.

Navarro College (Texas) is rated No. 1, followed by Blinn College (Texas) and Hutchinson Community College (Kan.).

Northwest Mississippi is the highest rated MACJC school at No. 6, with East Mississippi at No. 9, Mississippi Gulf Coast at No. 12 and Pearl River at No. 14. Co-Lin also received votes in the poll.
