Lauren Candies went the distance, scattered five hits and upped her record to 17-8 with the victory. She had one strikeout and one walk.

JCJC sent nine batters to the plate in the first inning, got five hits and scored all of their runs.

Heidi Garcich led off with a single, followed by a single from Haley Brooke Smith. Mallory Cowart then singled a run home a run and Shannon Mosley followed with another single to center. A sacrifice fly to center by Jessmar Walters scored Smith to make it 2-0.

After K.T. Perkins drew a walk, Stacia Whitaker followed with a two-run single to right to make it 4-0.

Candies was in control in the circle. She had the Lady Wildcats blanked until Jordan Adams led off the sixth with a home run.

The Lady Bobcats managed to get a baserunner from the second inning through the sixth, but could not convert.

Garcich and Smith each singled twice for JCJC, while Perkins doubled. Cowart, Mosley, Whitaker and Alex Faciane added singles.
