ELLISVILLE – The 14th-ranked Jones County Junior College Bobcats open play in the 2011 MACJC baseball playoffs by hosting East Mississippi Community College in a best-of-three series this weekend.

The 33-13 Bobcats, the No. 1 seed out of the South Division, will entertain the 16-27 Lions, the No. 4 seed from the North Division.

Game one of the series will be at 6 p.m. on Friday at Community Bank Park. Game two will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday. A third game, if necessary, will follow 30 minutes after game two.
