JCJC Sophomore’s Display Art Show

ELLISVILLE – The art work of ten Jones County Junior College students is now on display through April 29 at the Eula Bass Lewis Art Gallery on the JCJC campus.  Each sophomore visual art student has worked with instructors to choose the strongest and most professional examples they have created during their two years at Jones County Junior College for public viewing. 
The show encompasses many forms and media including painting, sculpture, prints, computer graphics, found object work, ceramics, drawings and more. The students participating in the exhibit are Ethan Manning-Petal, Lindsay Middleton-Laurel, Nicole Ainsworth-Laurel, Anna Dancsisin-Summit, Anna Love-Laurel, Jerrad Hinton-Laurel, Sarah Carson-Hattiesburg, Catie Murphy-Bay Springs, Tasha Patterson-Soso, and Ryan Phillips-Ellisville.
The free show is open to the public and they are invited to a reception for the budding artists on Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. in the Visual Arts Center and Eula Bass Lewis Art Gallery.
