Four more Bobcats sign football scholarships

 ELLISVILLE – Four more Jones County Junior College football players have signed to play senior college football.

Justin Gaines of Bay Springs and Kewon Hunter of Oak Grove have signed with Belhaven University in Jackson, Caleb McGruder of Enterprise inked with the University of West Alabama in Livingston and Rashad Wynes of Macon, Ga., is headed to Albany State University in Georgia.

Gaines is a 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back, Hunter is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound linebacker, McGruder is a 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive lineman and Wynes is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound wide receiver.

Earlier, JCJC defensive end Ryan Robinson signed with Oklahoma State University and defensive tackle Jo’nal White signed with Louisiana Tech.

Bobcat head coach Pierce and his staff will begin adding high school players to their roster on Feb. 2, which is National Signing Day.
