JCJC’s Clarke County Center offers summer classes

ELLISVILLE – Jones County Junior College’s Center in Stonewall is offering college academic, CTE and non-credit day and night courses this summer. Academic night classes begin on Monday, May 28, and Career and Technical classes begin on Tuesday, May 29. The Non-credit/Workforce classes begin on Monday, June 4. The academic classes are eligible for half price tuition, and the CTE classes are eligible for full financial aid.

The following are the classes currently scheduled for this summer:
Academic Classes:  Begin Monday, May 28
Western Civilization I (Hybrid)                                     M   6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Speech                                                                      T    6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Intermediate Algebra                                                  TH 6:00 p.m. – 10:15 p.m.
 
CTE Classes: Begin Tuesday, May 29
Welding                                                                      M-F 7:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Entry Level Petroleum Trainee                                       M-F 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.  
 
Non-Credit Classes: Begin Monday, June 4
Workforce Welding                                                      M-T 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
Structural Fitting                                                         M-T  5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
Commercial Truck Driving                                            Sat. 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
