JCJC’s Clarke County Center is offering a Structural Fitting class

ELLISVILLE- Jones County Junior College’s Workforce College is offering a new, Structural Fitting class at the JCJC Clarke County Center in Stonewall. Classes will be held on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., beginning Monday, September 11, 2017, through December 5, 2017.
Students in the Structural Fitting course will learn welding safety, oxyfuel cutting, base metal prep, shielded metal arc welding, tack welding, and fitting. The class will also cover basic safety, communication skills, employability skills, and will introduce participants to construction math, hand tools, power tools, and construction drawing.
The cost of the Structural Fitting course is $200. To register for the class, call 601-477-4284.
