Auditions for JCJC musicians: Maroon Typhoon Marching Band, Concert Choir & JC Voices

ELLISVILLE – Auditions to be a member of the Jones County Junior College Maroon Typhoon marching band will be held Saturday, April 1, at 8 a.m. for anyone interested in being a Drum Majors or on the Touch of Gold Dance Team. Color Guard and percussion auditions will be held the following week, Saturday, April 8, at 8 a.m. Registration for auditions will be held at the P.E. building at 8 a.m. for both Saturdays.
 
Members of the ‘Maroon Typhoon’ are a vital part of the college and perform at various events including the Bobcat Football games, Meet the Bobcats and Band Exhibition. Prospective vocal and instrument major students must audition to be accepted as a music major.
