JCJC sophomore music students perform

ELLISVILLE –Fifteen Jones County Junior College sophomore music students are inviting the public to hear their last solo performances before graduation. Sophomores expected to perform are: Abbi Smith, Ellisville; Benjamin Husbands, Pearl; Timothy Milling, Hattiesburg; Phebe Tisdale, Laurel; Dustin Logan, Soso; Reagan Arnold, Collins; Brian Evans, Hattiesburg; Miles Dennis, Soso; AJ Robinson, Hattiesburg; Jonathan LaCourse, Long Beach; Coco Caldwell, Laurel; Mikala McLaurin, Laurel; Katherine Hovan, Chalmette, LA; Devin Boothe, Lucedale; and Terry Curtis Jackson, Jr., Petersburg, Virginia. The final performances will be held in the Foote Chapel on the JCJC campus in Ellisville on five nights in April.
Scheduled to perform on Monday, April 3, at 7 p.m., is Abbi Smith, a soprano from Ellisville who will give a vocal recital while Benjamin Husbands of Pearl will perform on his trombone and Timothy S. Milling of Hattiesburg will give a percussion performance.
On Tuesday, April 4, Dustin Logan will perform on his guitar while tenor, Reagan Arnold and soprano, Phebe Tisdale of Laurel will perform vocally.
Final performances for tuba player, Brian Evans of Hattiesburg, pianist, AJ Robinson of Hattiesburg, and guitarist, Miles Dennis will be held on Monday, April 10, at 7 p.m.
Performing on Tuesday, April 11, will bevocalists, Jonathan LaCourse of Long Beach and Coco Caldwell of Laurel with clarinetist, Mikala McLaurin from Laurel.
Wrapping up the sophomore performances on Tuesday, April 18, will be mezzo-soprano, Katherine Hovan of Chalmette, Louisiana, on tuba, Devin Boothe of Lucedale and percussionist, Terry Curtis Jackson, Jr.
