JCJC offers ServSafe Certification in Clarke County

ELLISVILLE - Jones County Junior College’s Workforce College will be offering a ServSafe Certification training at the Clarke County Center in Stonewall, MS.  Federal and state requirements for food handlers specify that anyone serving prepared food to the public must be certified. The ServSafe training at JCJC prepares the student for safe food handling and the certification exam.
 
ServeSafe class dates will be, Monday and Tuesday, March 27 and 28, 2017. Class instruction will take place from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on March 27 and 28 with the exam following.
 
The cost of the course is $150.00 per person which includes the course book, study packet and exam.  Payment must be made and books picked up one week prior to class.  Students should study the material before the class to keep pace with the quick format. 
 
The JCJC Workforce College has established a reputation as a leader in ServSafe certification training with an outstanding success rate. To ensure you are in compliance with state law, those completing the course must re-certify every five years.  For more information or to register for class, call the JCJC Clarke County Center at 601-659-0622.
