ELLISVILLE - Entrepreneurs in Wayne County will now have the opportunity to realize their dreams of small business ownership with the help of Jones County Junior College’s, “Operation JumpStart.” A free introduction of the program, sponsored by First State Bank of Waynesboro will be held on Tuesday, September 15, at 9 a.m. at the JCJC Wayne County Center. At this meeting, JCJC Operation JumpStart instructor, Deborah Smith will discuss the six-week, nationally-recognized, highly successful training model to those who want to start or expand a small business. The Operation JumpStart: First Step curriculum teaches participants essential small business planning and preparation skills with practical hands-on training from experts in the field.
