JCJC to hold fall league baseball camp

 ELLISVILLE – Jones County Junior College will hold its second annual Bobcat Fall League Baseball Camp from Oct. 21-Nov. 11 at the new Community Bank Park baseball/softball complex.

The camp will be for players in grades 9-12.

Third-year head coach Christian Ostrander will begin on Oct. 21 with a pro-style workout/instructional clinic from 4:30-7 p.m. where players will receive first-hand attention from the JCJC coaching staff and Bobcat players.

Games will begin on Oct. 25. Each team in the league will consist of no more than 12 players to ensure playing time. Each team will play twice a week for three consecutive weeks (six games total). Instruction will also be given during games. Game times will be at 5 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Cost is $160 per player and the camp is limited to the first 72 players to register. Each camper will also receive a t-shirt.
